My name is Yannik Thorsten Heiko Schelske and I am a Master student at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Kaiserslautern.

My research interest is in human computer interaction, usability and human-based computation. At the moment I focus on quantitative measures in user interface design with special emphasis on an information-theoretic model of reading. The ultimate/utopian goal is to automatically evaluate user interfaces according to objective metrics. I am supervised and supported by Prof. Tandra Ghose of the Ghose Perception Lab and Prof. Thomas Breuel of the Image Understanding and Pattern Recognition Research Group, both at the University of Kaiserslautern.
